Attinie

This is the first time I have the opportunity to present an installation and I guess is nice to write about my work. My pursue is related with the study of human anatomy and with the idea of presence, structure and intention of the human body underlined by the emotional aspect.
An anthropological search manly expressed with ceramics to speak about the relation with nature that cannot be renounced.

The vision of this installation became from a thought on the family theme with particular attention on the women issue which nowadays strongly depend on the body image. My sculptures gained form trough a slow and reflexive process where time is perpetuate in the flow of the material surface, while experimenting the wool.
Showing here at Motor was a coincidence but suddenly became an important space interaction because this portrait want to raise the femininity and beauty as peculiars connotations of this gender. This women’s objects becomes floating see anemones expressed in their patience character by constructing the hair with the organic yarn.
This piece is also called Attinie which means anemones in Latin because are first life form to be in extinction for the global warming. As Indian mandalas ,dunes in the desert, ghost emerging from the earth my elements seems pawns of the game were the femininity of the language is in contrast with the masculine form.
